In a shocking and tragic incident, a Florida man lost his life after he allegedly placed a missing child from Wichita, Kansas, whom he believed was ‘possessed’ into a fire. According to Fox News, the man also hit a deputy with a rod during the incident. This horrifying event has left the community shaken and searching for answers.

The details of this unsettling event are still emerging. Still, it appears that the man claimed the child was possessed by evil spirits, leading him to resort to extreme measures. The sheriff’s office received a distress call and responded promptly, hoping to defuse the situation and protect those involved. However, despite their efforts, the confrontation escalated, resulting in the man’s death.

First responders arrived on the scene late afternoon on Tuesday, December 19. They received reports of someone burning debris on the side of the road. The concerned callers felt the situation warranted law enforcement checking on the situation.
