Letitia Bishop, a Columbus, Ohio woman, says that Subway charged her $1,021.50 for one footlong sandwich, leaving her strapped for cash and wiping her bank account cleanout. New York Post reports that she visited the Subway store to purchase three sandwiches for her family.

According to her receipt (below), Subway charged her over $1,000 for one sandwich. Bishop alleges that she returned to the store minutes after leaving to get answers to the supersized price. They told her to contact the corporate office, but Bishop said she could not get a hold of a live person at Subway’s corporate office.

Bishop said no phone number published online for Subway leads to a “live person,” explaining it’s been two months since her visit to the store. She has yet to be able to reach anyone who can assist her with getting a refund.

The Ohio woman said she contacted her bank for help, but they could not assist her either. She didn’t name which bank she uses, so it could be a prepaid or Cash App…
