Rosie O’Donnell is making her opinion clear on the Menendez brother’s case. Daytime Confidential reports that O’Donnell believes the men are innocent and the court should immediately order their release. The former talk show host explains that if the judge had “fairly” sentenced the brothers, they might have received a 25-year sentence. She points out that they would be out of prison several years ago if that were their sentence.
O’Donnell posted a TikTok to express her opinion on the famous true crime case. She believes the brothers murdered their parents out of fear for their lives and were not motivated by money. She points out that the Menendez family was wealthy, and their children had a lavish lifestyle. For a crime this violent, she believes their abuse allegations.
The former daytime TV host says Erik and Lyle Menendez have been model prisoners. They have received therapy and made honorable strides to overcome their abuse. Over the years, she remained in contact with Lyle. They’ve developed a close friendship. She believes his story and hopes the brothers will see freedom “very soon.”
