A man who planned to commit suicide praises his cat for being the one who saved him.
Morbid Kuriosity shared a post on Instagram about a man who credited his cat for saving him from ending his life. The man shared his story on Reddit in the sub; This Changed My Life.
His story is heartwarming. His love for his feline friend could make the most brutal man cry. Most importantly, this cat did God’s work by saving another from ending his life.
Man Carefully Planned His Suicide
The man said he carefully planned his suicide. He planned to wait two years, then kill himself. He moved to another state and tried to end his lifelong friendships. He figured it would take two years for his friends to stop checking on him. He didn’t want his friends to miss him. He would rather they have a “good riddance” attitude.
The wrinkle in his plan was his mother. His mother checked on him weekly and refused to let him get off the phone without talking to her. She would visit him (several hundred miles) monthly. She knew something was bothering her son and wouldn’t let him hurt himself. She would end her calls by saying,” Remember, I need you around. I will always love you, no matter what.”
