I was one of the lucky ones making $7K a month for over two years. Then in December, my traffic decreased from 5K to 750. The past three months I have earned $650 a month. That is my current average.

I am so annoyed with their lack of transparency. I have no motivation to write there as there's no value in it. I wished there was an alternative, but there isn't.

If that's not bad enough, I was kicked off Circle after calling out another writer for doing news rewrites, touting she broke the NB code. She reported me to NB claiming I was sending her racist messages. I never sent her one message and didn't say anything about race. I pointed out that doing rewrites and not changing the format and using the same source is a form of plagiarism. I am not a racist.

NB took her word on it and didn't even ask for proof. They kicked me off, and sent me an email that the ban was indefinite. I wrote about it on Medium. It's my first pinned story.

Long story short, I am searching for a replacement for NB. I can't quit as I depend on the $650 a month to pay my bills, but as soon as I can, I will.

All I want is NB to tell us what the real issue is. I don't even care if there is no resolution. I feel like after nearly 1500 articles and nearly three years of writing, I deserve that, at the very least.
