I don't care what this article says, weed is what keeps me sane. I don't smoke myself to silliness, one hit and quit. I have never had any memory loss. it hasn't affected my work or relationships.
I get you are in recovery, from the article, but to say marijuana is addictive, contradicts nearly every study on it. I smoke daily and regularly go a week or two without smoking, and I have zero side effects.
There's no way marijuana is as addictive as alcohol and cigerettes. Alcohol is one of the most addictive substances available.
For me, I use weed like caffeine. It wakes me up. It helps my creativity. And, there's nothing like watching a movie after smoking a nice big blunt.
BTW, I am 46, since you said something about being over 40 and waking up to realize that you've wasted your life with weed.
