Even if he was right, it is NOT okay to tell a 16 year old child she was ugly and needed to learn to cook to find a man. That's toxic and should never happen to anyone. The fact so many MEN have said this in the comments section, basically standing up for uncle Tom is appalling. I guess toxic men stand together...
