Donald Trump Vows To Ban Gender-Affirming Care For Minors, Praises Marjorie Taylor Greene’s New Bill
The former president calls gender-affirming care for minors “sexual mutilation.”
Former President Donald Trump vows to stop gender-affirming care for minors under his administration, should he win the 2024 election. Breitbart News reports that he believes that gender-affirming care is “child sexual mutilation” and should be banned at the federal level.
Trump told his attendees that he cannot imagine having to talk about gender-affirming procedures on children. He believes it is time to protect children from “radical medical procedures” that “they will likely regret later in life.”
The presidential hopeful praised Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s new bill, Protect Children’s Innocence Act. This bill would make gender-affirming care a felony.
Greene referenced Trump’s speech on Truth Social. “President @realDonaldTrump says he will ban child genital mutilation, which is exactly what my bill, Protect Children’s Innocence Act, will do by making child gender-affirming care a FELONY! And protecting gas-powered engines is GREAT, too! Thank you, President Trump!”
