Celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels, 48, is sounding off about the diabetic drug, Ozempic being used as a weight loss aid. Yahoo News reported that the former Biggest Loser coach believes that Ozempic is not a healthy way to lose weight.

Michaels explains that Ozempic, also known by the generic medication name semaglutide, users may have weight loss with the medication, but the manufacturer’s website states that after they stop taking the medication, they could gain 2/3 of the weight back.

The celebrity trainer also noted that Ozempic users often complain about several disturbing side effects such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, heart palpitations, headache, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

“Once they get off of the drug, it does the rebound effect,” Jillian explained. “So you’re not gaining anything. You get off the drug in a year and go all the way back. You’ve not learned anything. You’ve not built any physical strength or endurance. You haven’t learned how to eat healthy.”
