Bethenny Frankel Slams Ozempic, Claiming The GLP-1 Drug Causes A Change In Personality And Makes People ‘Go Mad’
Bethenny Frankel slams Ozempic use in Hollywood. She thinks it is too easy for thin people with eating disorders to take the drug.
The Skinnygirl founder, Bethenny Frankel, expressed concerns about using type 2 diabetes medication Ozempic for weight loss. US Magazine reports that Frankel said she’s heard Boca Raton, Florida, and Manhattan’s Upper East Side communities are using the medication to shed a couple of pounds. She thinks the drug could cause eating disorders and body dysmorphia.
Frankel warned her followers on Instagram about the potential side effects. She claims that Ozempic acts as a “mood alterer,” which “changes their personalities.” She added that she’s heard people who use the medicine are becoming “mercurial and nasty.”
Bethenny said that years from now, there would likely be reports of Ozempic killing people, much like Chinese herb Ma Huang when she was in her mid-twenties.
Frankel slammed “thin rich country club cul de sac Americans buying this online and at Mexican pharmacies” and said, “People are dying to be thin.”
