Based on your screenshot, you have probably made around 1200-1500 the past year (I am assuming since you said the average is yearly). That's not $600 for an article. If you made that on one article, there's no guarantee it will happen again.

I don't think anyone is making that kind of money per article on NB anymore. It's a crap shoot when you post. Some things do well (making 20$) and others make nothing, not even a penny.

I am not trying to be negative or downplay anything. I am trying to put the word out that as long as writers put up with these toxic writing platforms, they will continue to thrive.
